Sin Chew Daily - 1200 people bring their pets to Tropicana Metropark's Pet Carnival for fun

Petaling Jaya (3rd May, 2018) - Tropicana Corporation Berhad has recently hosted a two-day Pets Carnival & Bazaar event. Filled with lots of interactive activities, it has successfully attracted more than 1,200 pet lovers was held at the location of Tropicana Metropark Property Gallery.

According to Tropicana’s Managing Director Ms Ung Lay Ting, “We are extremely delighted to host the Tropicana Metropark’s Pets Carnival & Bazaar for the very first time at our own Central Park. It is the perfect backdrop for parents, children and their pets from the community here and those in the area to come together to strengthen family bonds and have a good time with their pets within a safe and secure neighbourhood.

This Pet Carnival was held at the Tropicana Metropark Property Gallery on its sprawling 9.2-acre Central Park. Divided into 2 fun and interactive zones, namely Ruff Zone and Cute Zone,visitors and their four-legged friends were treated at the Ruff Zone with activities such as such as clay moulding, pony rides as well as pet and owner caricatures. There were also pet wash stations to keep the pets cleaned, groomed and healthy. Proceeds from these wash stations will be donated to animal shelters, namely Cherishlife Home, Save A Stray, Second Chance Animal Society and Pet’s Journal.

Meanwhile, the Cute Zone emerged as the perfect venue for animal enthusiasts of all ages, especially families with their young ones. The Cute Zone’s petting zoo brings the opportunity for young children to get up close and personal touch with these cuddly animals. Another big attraction was the pets’ bazaar which had over twelve vendors selling food, apparel and goodies specially crafted for pets.
