MORE than 1,600 people took part in the recent 5km Tropicana Metropark Bubble Bridge Run.

It was the first-of-its-kind fun run to be held at the award-winning 35ha mixed development.

Speaking at the event, Tropicana managing director Ung Lay Ting said, "We are proud to host the Tropicana Metropark Bubble Bridge Run as the event garnered such great support from families and the communities in the neighbouring areas.

"Not only did participants witness firsthand Tropicana's commitment to sustainable green living throughout the whole development, they also obtained an exclusive preview of the RM106mil and soon-to-be opened Tropicana Metropark-Subang link that will connect the Federal Highway to Tropicana Metropark's doorstep.

The official opening of the link is slated to be early next month.

"We believe the 1.6km purpose-built link will benefit residents of Subang Jaya, USJ and neighbouring areas while providing greater connectivity to the development.
"With the distance shortened by 2.5km, commuters will enjoy reduced travel time and smoother traffic flow," he added.

After the flag-off, participants ran towards various stations such as the Vertical Army Inflatable, Ultimate Inflatable Obstacle, Water Gun Attack, Giant Slide, Tire Steps and Foamy Finish.

Filled with sporting spirit, families and friends were seen challenging themselves to the various obstacles while taking plenty of scenic photos.

Upon dashing past Foamy Finish, participants were handed their medals and treated to a host of carnival-themed activities and lucky draws.

Speaking on the development, Ung said, 'Tropicana Metropark is poised to become an iconic destination for both commercial and recreational activities in the years to come.

"With the first two residential phases, namely Pandora and Paloma Serviced Residences fully sold and handed over to homeowners, we are now focusing on the third residential phase, Paisley Serviced Residences which essentially promotes a lifestyle of relaxation where retreat-like surroundings makes it an ideal home for young urbanites." Paisely Serviced Residences consists of two iconic towers with a total of 587 units and built-ups ranging from 601 to 1,491sq ft.

Given its central location at Tropicana Metropark, residents will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the Central Park as they can choose from the various layout sizes, namely specifically 1+1,2+1 and 3+1-bed-room units, all thoughtfully designed to maximise panoramic views and natural lighting.

The Tropicana Metropark Property Gallery and the Paisley Serviced Residences Show Units are open daily from 9.30am to 6.30pm. For details, visit www.tropicanametropark. com.my or contact 1700-81-8887.
