Kuala Lumpur – Tropicana Corporation Berhad to go in line with government’s plan to build 15,000 units of affordable homes – Tropicana Urban Homes, in the coming five years to benefit first generation homebuyers.
Due to the increasing demand of affordable homes, the group will make use of Industrialized Building System (IBS) in building quality, ecofriendly and energy saving homes.
Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Yau Kok Seng said, the group would build 15,000 units of high quality homes in Tropicana Aman at Kota Kemuning and Tropicana Heights at Kajang in coming five years to increase the quantity of affordable homes. The group aim to achieve the government’s goal of building 1mil of affordable homes by year 2020.
