Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduces the new Mercedes-Benz GLB in two variants: the GLB 200 and the GLB 250 4MATIC. With bold proportions and innovative features, this spacious compact SUV offers an enhanced appeal for customers.

Exterior
The GLB's exterior showcases a redesigned front bumper with visual underbody protection, highlighting its off-road capabilities. The GLB 200 features a SUV radiator grille with four horizontal louvres, while the GLB 250 4MATIC sports a grille with single louvres and chrome accents. Both variants also have a refreshed front apron with geometric styling. The athletic shoulder line and sculpted side panels create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, leading to a wide, visually striking rear end. The GLB 200 adopts the Progressive Line exterior, whereas the GLB 250 4MATIC boasts an AMG Line exterior.

The Night Package enhances the vehicle's look with high-gloss black trim on various elements, including the louvres of the radiator shell, front and rear apron trim, roof railing, exterior mirror housings, beltline and window trim strips, and simulated underguard. The GLB 250 4MATIC further features an AMG front apron with a front splitter and an AMG rear apron with high-gloss black visible tailpipe trim.

New full-LED headlights and rear lights add to the SUV's striking appearance. The range now includes a new Spectral Blue Metallic paint option. The LED High Performance headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist automatically activate high beams when no other vehicles are detected ahead or approaching. The GLB 200 comes with 18-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, while the GLB 250 4MATIC features 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels.

Interior
Inside, the GLB offers a blend of practicality and modern high-tech ambiance, accommodating up to 7 passengers. A highlight of the upgraded interior is the freestanding dual-screen setup, featuring 10.25-inch wide-screen displays for the instrument cluster and multimedia. The latest MBUX infotainment system allows wireless access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with hard-disc navigation available via the Mercedes me store.

The interior's sporty elegance is further enhanced by round air vents with a turbine design, contrasting with the aluminum straight-lined, off-road elements. The multifunction sports steering wheel is wrapped in leather in the GLB 200 and Nappa leather in the GLB 250 4MATIC. Additional connectivity includes an extra USB-C port, increased USB charging power, and illuminated USB ports.

The GLB offers comfort seats, upholstered in ARTICO man-made leather for the GLB 200 and a combination of ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfiber for the GLB 250 4MATIC. The GLB 200 features a Star-pattern trim, while the GLB 250 4MATIC includes a Star Pattern backlit trim that interacts with ambient lighting. The Mercedes-Benz pattern is illuminated on the instrument panel in the passenger's chosen colour, creating a unique effect, especially at night. The GLB also includes ambient lighting with 64 colours and THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control.

For safety, the GLB is equipped with features like Blind Spot Assist, Exit Warning Assist, Active Brake Assist, and a Parking Package with a reverse camera. It also includes the KEYLESS-GO Comfort package, EASY-PACK tailgate, and GUARD 360° Vehicle protection.

The GLB 250 4MATIC exclusively offers all-wheel drive and a 48-volt electrical system with a belt-driven starter generator, providing an additional 10 kW of power for improved acceleration and smoother starts. This system also supports coasting with the engine off, and recovers energy during braking and acceleration, powering both the 12-volt on-board network and the 48-volt battery.
