NST Online - Tropicana Golf & Country Resort hosts media and corporate appreciation day

PETALING JAYA: In conjunction with the 29th anniversary of Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, which is a subsidiary of Tropicana Corporation Berhad (Tropicana), a fun day in the sun was hosted for media partners and corporate sponsors recently in honour of their valued support throughout the years.

Guest who attended and took part in the 'Media and Corporate Appreciation Day' were feted to sumptuous lunch and also enjoyed a play-through on the greens at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort's serene 18-hole East Course.

Also on the greens competing in this year's event were Yew Kong Chee, executive director, credit administration & resort management of Tropicana, Ravindran Varnagopal, general manager, resort management of Tropicana, David Wang, deputy general manager, resort management and Ismadi Abdul Manap, Sportswriters Association of Malaysia (SAM).

"Tropicana is honoured to welcome our media friends and corporate partners to Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, where we first began our journey more than 29 years ago. "Today is our way of giving back to the community, while showcasing hospitality from the heart within the resort's rolling greens," said Yew Kong Chee.

During the event, among the prizes up for grabs were Airlines tickets to Vietnam, Premier Leisure Golf tickets to Bangkok, Thailand, Golf bags and lucky draw prizes of Srixon golf balls and complimentary green fee.

All the prizes were presented by Yew and Ravindran in a festive and special ceremony complete with sumptuous dinner and entertainment.
