Nanyang Siang Pau - Tropicana will be launching four projects this year

Tropicana Corp. Bhd. (TROP, 5401, main market, property) has plans on launching four projects this year, that includes three from Klang Valley and one from Johor.

During an interview with [City & Country], Managing Director Ung Lay Ting said among the four mixed integrated and township developments are Tropicana Cheras and Tropicana Heights at Kajang, Tropicana Aman and Aman 2 at Selangor, as well as Ayera Residences of Tropicana Danga Cove at Johor.

Attract more first-time homebuyer

“We foresee these newly launch projects will widen our buyers group, it will certainly attracts more first-time homebuyer and also those who aspire to live a contemporary lifestyle.”

Spanned across 48.39 acres, Ayera Residences that has total gross development value (GDV) of RM 490mil will develop in two phases and contain 577 units of double-storey park homes.

Tropicana Cheras that contain 37 units 3-storey superlink has GDV of RM 43mil, together with Aman 2 from Tropicana Urban Homes, both are mainly target at middle-income group of homebuyers.

Ung Lay Ting said, the group would continue to unlock the value of sizeable land bank and despite consumer’s spending pattern remain slow, the group believe with strategic location and complete facilities, the properties will be able to meet market demand continuously.

Meanwhile, the group completed numerous projects in this year that includes Tropicana The Residences and W Hotel in KL city centre, Paloma from Tropicana Metropark, Parkfield from Tropicana Heights, as well as Arashsia and Bayan from Tropicana Aman.
