Oriental Daily - Tropicana Q1 net profit up 114%

Kuala Lumpur, 26 May 2017 – Tropicana Corp. Bhd. (TROP, 5401, main market, property) posted 114.5% higher net profit of RM 32.52mil compared with the corresponding period of last year, for the first quarter ended March 31, 2017.

The group’s revenue for the quarter grew 33.09% to RM 381.87mil.

Tropicana Corp. Bhd. attributed the growth of net profit and revenue to strong sales in its property projects.
