Tropicana Cenang hosts the launch of the Langkawi Tourism Association’s calendar of events.

THE Langkawi International Folding Bike Challenge 2.0 2023 (LIFBC) was launched by Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor at Tropicana Cenang.

The eco-friendly LIFBC aims to elevate Langkawi as a holiday destination and offers

visitors a chance to enjoy the island’s scenic and peaceful life.

“Tropicana Corporation Bhd is proud to host the launch of LIFBC this year, giving back to Langkawi in our role as a community builder,” said its deputy chief executive officer Khoo Thian Shyang in a media statement.

“This event complements our ongoing initiatives in the district, such as the renovation of the Pantai Kok Rest and Recreation Centre as well as past events like the Tropicana go-go-FIT 3km Beach Fun Run at Tropicana Cenang.

“We look forward to further collaborations in this spirit,” he said.

Langkawi Tourism Association’s calendar of events was also unveiled at the same time.

One of the highlights visitors can look forward to is the Langkasuka International

Folklore Festival of Art from Sept 29 to Oct 1.
