Indeed, its teams strong camaraderie clinched the second spot in the Team Spirit Squad category from 2009 to 2011. "Running requires self-discipline, commitment,vigour and hard work, which are good attributes to instil in our valued employees," the spokesman says. This year, Tropicana's team is looking forward to running at the new venue, Padang Merbok and its surroundings.

It has recced and is familiarising itself with the route. The Rat Race is one of the positive social engagements that Tropicana values and sees as a foundation to build a brighter future for the current and future generations. For its part, the property developer has set up Tropicana Foundation,which drives the group's corporate social responsibility activities.

The foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged communities through the provision of funding and implementation of charitable initiatives.
